About Emily Muccianti
Emily is a reading specialist and former interventionist and induction mentor who now serves teachers as a mentor, coach, and consultant. During her tenure in public education, her expertise in reading instruction, methodology, and data analysis propelled three of her four programs to become Golden Bell and Distinguished School award winners.
She has presented to the California League of Schools and the California Reading Association the impact that her school-wide approach to intervention has had on students. Emily continues to work with teachers, interventionists and administrators to spread the important work related to the science of reading, beginning teacher support, and reading intervention through Reading Lab SOS (System of Support) and the New Teacher Success Network.
